Project Information
Forming part of the Arbroath Schools Project, the new-build school provides modern learning spaces fit to meet the demands of the school curriculum for 335 pupils, 72 pre-school children and 35 staff members.
Built on the playing fields of the existing school, the former facility remained operational throughout construction. Once pupils and staff transferred to the new building, we demolished the old school and carried out ground levelling works before completing the sports pitch, carparking and landscaping.
Across its 3,018 m2, the building comprises a steel frame and structural timber inner leaf, with external glazing and cladding.
Community Involvement
Close engagement with community stakeholders during preconstruction to ensure access to existing facilities was maintained during construction, and gather opinions on future facilities.
